The diligent follow up of the core team is what makes this organization unique and effective. It builds trust within the community while allowing a constant upkeep of the programs in place, and providing a periodic re-evaluation of the actions and assessment of needs.
The solicitation of these donations, the deliveries of the supplies, the ongoing supervision and work done in the country have been accomplished by a 100% volunteer group. There is no paid director, or staff. Expenses are kept low through the generosity of donors and sponsors. The 100% volunteer aspect is key to what makes AAAMM and AFMMA unique in the world of charities–when you donate you know that 100% of your gift is going directly to help the people of Mali. |
